Lead Toddler Teacher responsible for curriculum, classroom environment, and child development.
- •Magical Beginnings is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to join their Upper Village center.
- •This role involves leading a nurturing toddler classroom focused on play-based learning and supporting children's development.
- •Key Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate toddler curriculum and engaging classroom activities.
- •Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating toddler classroom environment.
- •Supervise and actively engage toddlers while maintaining positive classroom management and required teacher-to-child ratios.
- •Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers and center leadership.
- •Ensure compliance with all New York State OCFS childcare licensing requirements.
- •Requirements Must meet New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) qualifications for a Lead Toddler Teacher.
- •Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- •Previous experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center, daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting.
- •Ability to maintain compliance with New York State OCFS childcare licensing regulations.
- •Excellent communication, teamwork, organizational, and family partnership skills.
