- •Kraken is seeking a Head of Fraud, Payments & Banking to own the strategy, governance, and execution of fraud prevention programs across its global operations.
- •This role involves leading a multi-tiered fraud organization and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end payments and banking fraud prevention strategy.
- •Build, lead, and mentor a multi-tiered fraud organization.
- •Collaborate with executive teams and regulators on emerging fraud trends.
- •Design and implement fraud policies, rule frameworks, and control processes.
- •Oversee fraud detection systems and tools, and manage escalation pathways.
- •Requirements 10+ years of experience in banking, payment processing, or fraud risk management.
- •Proven track record with card, third-party, and peer-to-peer payment fraud.
- •Working knowledge of UK and other non-US regulatory regimes.
- •Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and associated fraud risks preferred.
- •Solid grounding in data analytics and reporting.
