About the role
TL;DR
AI/ML Intern to design and implement state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for robotics.
- •Kodiak Robotics is seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Intern with a strong grasp of Computer Vision and Foundation Models to tackle real-world robotics challenges.
- •The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and implement state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms in Python.
- •Develop deep neural networks for robotics problems like 3D scene understanding and self-supervised learning.
- •Work with sensor data (cameras, lidars, radars) to refine ML datasets.
- •Develop and manage automated AI flywheels for efficient ML processes.
- •Push the frontiers of autonomous systems within Kodiak's software ecosystem.
- •Requirements Pursuing an MS or Ph.D. (exceptional BS candidates considered) with hands-on experience in deep neural networks.
- •Skilled engineer with applied AI research, Python programming, and strong problem-solving skills.
- •Passion for real-world robotics problems, ideally with prior autonomous robot experience.
- •Team player with ownership mentality and interest in system performance.
- •Ability to build and iterate quickly, comfortable developing algorithms from scratch.
- •Experienced with production ML pipelines from dataset curation to validation.
- •Great communicator with experience writing design documents and enabling colleagues.
