TL;DR
Write and strategize federal proposals to win government contracts.
- •Kaizen is seeking a dedicated Federal Proposal Writer & Capture Strategist to own the end-to-end process of winning competitive contracts with the U.S.
- •This role is crucial for scaling Kaizen's Federal proposal function and ensuring modern technology is adopted by government agencies.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the full development and submission of Federal solicitation responses.
- •Monitor Federal contracting channels beyond SAM.gov to surface new opportunities.
- •Partner with product, engineering, and partnerships to translate technical work into winning narratives.
- •Build AI-assisted workflows and templates to accelerate proposal processes.
- •Requirements At least 8 years of experience writing and winning proposals for Federal government solicitations.
- •Experience at a startup or fast-moving tech company.
- •Deep fluency in Federal procurement processes and channels.
- •A sharp eye for detail and a self-starter mentality.
- •Hands-on experience using AI tools in proposal and capture work.
