- •The Associate Director, Clinical Operations will manage operational aspects of early-phase oncology clinical trials, overseeing CROs, vendors, and sites globally.
- •This role requires expertise in clinical trial processes, regulatory compliance, and managing early-phase oncology trials at a sponsor biotech.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead planning, execution, and close-out of complex Phase I oncology trials, ensuring compliance with protocols, SOPs, GCP, and regulations.
- •Manage and oversee external partners (CROs, labs, vendors), ensuring deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- •Manage, mentor, and support direct reports, fostering professional development and team performance.
- •Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Clinical Development, Data Management, Regulatory Affairs, etc.) to ensure alignment and smooth execution of clinical programs.
- •Contribute to the development and implementation of SOPs and operational tools to enhance team efficiency and compliance.
- •Requirements Deep understanding of managing early phase oncology trials at a sponsor biotech.
- •In-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulatory compliance (GCP, FDA, ICH).
- •Experience managing CROs, vendors, and clinical sites across U.S. and international regions.
- •Ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective trial execution.
- •Willingness to travel up to 15%.
