About the role
TL;DR
Consults customers on email deliverability strategies and best practices to maximize inbox placement.
- •As a member of Iterable’s Managed Services team, this Email Deliverability Consultant will be responsible for providing our customers with the necessary tools, strategies, and best practices to ensure they’re maximizing their potential for landing in their recipients’ email inboxes.
- •Key Responsibilities Provide email deliverability consulting services for new and existing customers.
- •Educate customers on email marketing “best practices” while providing deliverability support.
- •Monitor customers’ performance using internal metrics and 3rd-party delivery tools.
- •Gather delivery data into account assessments including Email Deliverability Reports.
- •Discover and resolve email delivery/Deliverability problems with specific ISPs and mailbox providers.
- •4 years experience in email deliverability consulting and/or email deliverability support. 2+ years experience in a B2B customer-facing role for a high-tech, SaaS organization.
- •Experience using 3rd-party delivery tools (Validity Everest, eDataSource, Google Postmaster Tools, Microsoft SNDS, etc.).
- •Proficient with ISP/domain-specific delivery policies, block mitigation, and feedback loops with ISPs.
- •Strong familiarity with end-to-end email delivery (IP addresses, DNS, SMTP, authentication, etc.).
