About the role
TL;DR
Lead and build the Business Applications function, enabling business operations through applications, integrations, and AI.
- •Horizon3.ai is seeking a Manager, IT Engineering to build and lead their Business Applications (BizApps) function.
- •This hands-on leadership role will empower the business through applications, integrations, and AI tooling.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead and grow the Business Applications team, overseeing application administration, integration development, and AI agent enablement.
- •Own the administration, configuration, and lifecycle management of IT-deployed company-wide applications.
- •Serve as the primary owner and architect of the Workato IPaaS instance for system integrations.
- •Design, build, and deploy AI agents across the AI platform stack to automate business processes.
- •Partner with IT Engineering, Security, and Legal/Compliance to ensure alignment with security and regulatory obligations.
- •Requirements Strong experience in IT, business systems administration, or systems engineering, including team leadership.
- •Deep hands-on experience administering enterprise SaaS platforms (Jira/Atlassian suite required).
- •Hands-on experience building and managing integrations on an IPaaS platform (Workato preferred).
- •Demonstrated experience building custom integrations using AWS services.
- •Hands-on experience building or deploying AI agents on enterprise AI platforms.
