About the role
TL;DR
Build and scale a global digital identity platform, owning problems end-to-end across the full stack.
- •Hopae is building the world's most trusted digital identity platform, enabling businesses to verify real people across borders through a single API.
- •As a Software Engineer, you will own real problems end-to-end across the full stack in a fast-moving, broad-scope environment.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and scale the core verification platform, including API architecture and production reliability.
- •Connect and operate external identity providers by building adapters and monitoring tooling.
- •Develop infrastructure for taking integrated capabilities to production, including developer tooling and E2E test infrastructure.
- •Own quality end-to-end, including writing tests, monitoring production, and fixing issues.
- •Investigate failures independently, identify root causes, and fix the system.
- •Requirements 2-4 years of software engineering experience.
- •Strong backend fundamentals with experience in APIs, distributed systems, and production reliability.
- •Full-stack capabilities, comfortable working across backend, infrastructure, tooling, and frontend.
- •Ownership of quality, including testing, observability, and operational readiness.
- •High ownership, low ego, and ability to drive ambiguous problems to resolution.
