TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer to build and scale a global digital identity platform.
- •Hopae is building the world's most trusted digital identity platform, enabling businesses to verify real people across borders through a single API.
- •As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own real problems end-to-end across the full stack in a fast-paced, global team.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and scale the core verification platform, including API architecture and production reliability.
- •Connect and operate external identity providers, building adapters and monitoring tools.
- •Develop infrastructure for production deployment, including developer tooling and testing.
- •Own quality end-to-end, including testing, monitoring, and incident resolution.
- •Lead technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and participate in hiring.
- •Requirements 5+ years of software engineering experience with production systems.
- •Strong backend fundamentals in APIs, distributed systems, and async processing (TypeScript/JavaScript stack).
- •Full-stack experience, comfortable working across backend, infrastructure, tooling, and frontend.
- •Proven ability to lead projects and technical decisions.
- •Based in Seoul, comfortable in a global, multicultural, English-first environment.
