About the role
TL;DR
Manage supply planning and operations to meet customer demand and optimize inventory.
- •As the Supply Planning & Optimisation Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring Youfoodz consistently meets customer demand through highly accurate planning, scheduling, inventory management, and capacity modelling.
- •This leadership position is central to our mission, bridging the gap between commercial demand and factory execution.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end demand planning and production scheduling process.
- •Drive Delivered In Full (DIF) metrics.
- •Optimise inventory holding levels for finished goods and WIP food while minimising waste.
- •Lead short, medium, and long-term capacity planning.
- •Partner with Manufacturing Leads to drive Continuous Improvement (CI) and optimise Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- •Requirements 5+ years of experience in demand planning, production scheduling, or S&OP/IBP roles within an FMCG/food manufacturing environment.
- •Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or Engineering; APICS certification is highly regarded.
- •Proficiency in planning systems and data/AI tools, with the ability to lead system development and automation.
- •Proven capacity planning experience including OEE, labour modelling, and production sequencing.
