- •Halter is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of significant product areas, focusing on establishing and advancing design foundations across mobile and web.
- •This role involves inventing new interaction models and setting the standard for product craft at Halter.
- •Key Responsibilities Set, own, and advance design foundations across mobile and web.
- •Shape the technical architecture and system structure alongside engineers.
- •Treat the design system as a product with real customers, setting its direction and prioritizing its development.
- •Raise the craft of designers through feedback, reviews, and mentorship.
- •Requirements 5+ years designing digital products, with significant time spent designing and building design systems at scale.
- •Exceptional visual craft and command of typography, layout, spacing, color, accessibility, interaction, and motion design.
- •Proven experience shipping a design system with engineers, understanding token and component library structures in code.
- •A portfolio showing both foundational systems work and concrete high-craft experiences built with it.
