- •Gridware is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their lean finance team.
- •This is a hands-on role where you will build and manage the company's core accounting infrastructure, establish scalable processes, and manage the day-to-day close.

- •Key Responsibilities Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
- •Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- •Ensure compliance with GAAP and help establish and maintain accounting policies.
- •Manage AP/AR, payroll accounting, and cash management processes.
- •Support audit readiness and manage relationships with external auditors.
- •Requirements 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and industry experience.
- •Deep knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting, specifically ASC 606 and ASC 330.
- •Experience owning or heavily contributing to a monthly close process.
- •Comfortable operating with limited infrastructure and building processes from scratch.
- •Excellent communication skills, able to work cross-functionally.
