- •GPTZero is seeking a software engineer to join their investigative team, focusing on uncovering and publishing groundbreaking investigations into AI-generated content.
- •This role sits at the intersection of investigative journalism and AI.
- •Key Responsibilities Use AI detection and hallucination detection models to find examples of AI slop.
- •Synthesize data into prose, visualizations, and interactive user experiences.
- •Build search engine query generators and targeted crawlers for web content.
- •Craft machine learning ranking and classification systems to detect fabrications using LLMs.
- •Create robust data processing pipelines at scale.
- •Requirements Ability to tell creative and compelling stories using data. 2+ years of experience in Python for data pipelines. 1+ years of experience in SQL, ideally PostgreSQL.
- •Experience with web scraping and search at scale.
- •Experience with basic cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS).
