About the role
TL;DR
Manage accounting operations, oversee monthly close, and build internal accounting functions.
- •This is a high impact role for someone who wants to take ownership, shape financial operations, and grow with the company.
- •You will work closely with our outsourced accounting firm to manage the monthly close and ensure accuracy across all accounting workflows.
- •As we scale, you will help build the internal accounting function and bring processes in house.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage the relationship with our outsourced accounting team.
- •Oversee and review monthly close deliverables including reconciliations, journal entries, revenue schedules, and variance analyses.
- •Maintain a high quality general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- •Oversee accounts receivable including invoicing, collections, cash application, and follow up with customers as needed.
- •Manage SaaS revenue accounting including subscription billing, usage elements when applicable, and ASC 606 considerations.
- •Requirements CPA certification or significant progress toward CPA.
- •Three to five years of hands on accounting experience.
- •SaaS industry experience is required.
- •Strong understanding of GAAP, month end processes, and revenue recognition.
- •Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities and limited structure.
