- •Design the tooling and fixtures the factory builds with: weld fixtures, assembly jigs, and lifting and handling tools.

- •Own fixtures from concept through proving: tolerance stack-ups, repeatability studies, and sign-off.
- •Manage the tooling lifecycle: maintenance, calibration, revisions, and the register that tracks it all.
- •Design for the operator: fast loading, mistake-proofing, and safe handling of heavy parts.
- •Requirements You've designed production tooling and fixtures for fabrication or assembly, and they're still in use.
- •You do stack-ups properly and your fixtures hold tolerance at rate.
- •You've proven fixtures with capability studies, not eyeballs.
- •You design mistake-proofing in rather than inspecting errors out.
- •You revise fast when the product changes.
