Research Scientist for catalyst simulation and discovery using computational methods.
- •SandboxAQ is seeking a Research Scientist to join their Computational Catalysis team.
- •You will leverage state-of-the-art computational tools to solve real-world challenges in catalysis.
- •This role involves supporting the design and implementation of computational workflows, homogeneous catalyst discovery, and developing machine learning models for catalysis.
- •Key Responsibilities Support client engagements for catalyst discovery and optimization.
- •Deploy and support computational workflows for catalytic cycle investigation.
- •Develop large-scale datasets and machine-learned models for catalyst discovery.
- •Prepare and deliver high-impact reports and presentations.
- •Mentor junior scientists and interns.
- •Requirements PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent.
- •Experience with atomistic simulation methods for homogeneous catalysis.
- •Experience in in silico catalyst discovery and/or optimization projects.
- •Strong software development skills with Python for computational chemistry.
- •Ability to collaborate effectively within diverse, interdisciplinary teams.
