TL;DR
Manage technically complex products from concept to production, owning budget and delivery.
- •Formlabs is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to guide new technology from concept through production.
- •This role partners with design and product stakeholders to develop world-class products, acting as the nexus between program teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage the strategy, planning, execution, and delivery of technically complex products.
- •Own the program budget, including staffing plans and accountability for all project expenditures.
- •Create and maintain product cost models to meet end product cost targets.
- •Act as the key link between the program team and stakeholders, reporting frequently to company leadership.
- •Monitor projects, evaluate progress, manage issue resolution, and communicate status, risks, and key issues.
- •Requirements Minimum of 3 years of Program Management Experience.
- •Deep understanding of a technical product design life cycle and problem-solving processes.
- •Ability to apply technical knowledge to drive decision-making, trade-off discussions, and program strategy.
- •Business-minded with the ability to break down program decisions in terms of dollars.
- •Passion for improving schedule and project efficiency.
- •Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate upwards to senior management.
- •Demonstrated experience creating and implementing program management tools.
- •Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- •B.S. degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline.
