- •Dutch Vet is seeking a Lead Data/AI Engineer to manage data pipelines, event tracking, and data models that support analytics, reporting, and AI features.
- •This role is central to their modern data stack, involving collaboration with BI and product engineering teams to ensure data integrity and trust.
- •Key Responsibilities Co-own the dbt + Snowflake platform.
- •Isolate warehouse workloads and safeguard model dependencies.
- •Develop shared observability pipelines, prompt evaluation harnesses, and cost-tracking tooling for the LLM stack.
- •Set technical standards and mentor engineers on code quality, CI/CD, and system design.
- •Requirements 6+ years of experience operating production data platforms with dbt + cloud-warehouses (Snowflake preferred). 6+ years of strong production Python and software-engineering fundamentals.
- •Mindset geared towards systems architecture, API contracts, and failure modes.
- •Instinct to manage cloud spend, warehouse performance, and data quality proactively.
- •Ability to improve team performance through collaboration.
