- •Deepgram is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to oversee the revenue close process and ASC 606 application as the company scales.
- •This role involves shaping revenue recognition policies and ensuring their accurate implementation.
- •Key Responsibilities Run the monthly revenue close for enterprise, self-serve, and direct entries.
- •Own contract liability and deferred revenue, ensuring accurate reconciliation to the GL.
- •Apply ASC 606 policies monthly, including material rights, breakage, and discount allocation.
- •Provide monthly and quarterly flux analysis on revenue and deferred revenue to executives and auditors.
- •Manage and develop the revenue accountant, fostering a split for segregation of duties.
- •Requirements Seven or more years in accounting, with a significant portion in revenue recognition.
- •Hands-on experience with ASC 606 in consumption or drawdown models.
- •Proficiency in data analysis using SQL, Python, or advanced Excel methodologies.
- •Experience with billing and revenue platforms such as Ordway, Zuora, Maxio, RevPro, NetSuite ARM, or Rillet.
- •A working AI practice, with experience using LLMs for revenue-related tasks.
