TL;DR
Lead the design, ownership, and scaling of Lyft's Global Support Platform.
- •Lyft is seeking an experienced technical leader to design, own, and scale the Global Support Platform.
- •This role is critical for supporting Lyft's international growth by developing integration platforms that enhance customer care experiences.
- •Key Responsibilities Set the technical vision and strategy for a rapidly evolving product area.
- •Drive the adoption of AI and machine learning solutions for customer support.
- •Lead a team of engineers, maintaining a high bar for technical excellence.
- •Translate business goals into actionable engineering projects and own the technical roadmap.
- •Champion improvements in system observability, performance, and tech debt reduction.
- •Requirements 8+ years of software engineering industry experience architecting and delivering large-scale backend systems.
- •Demonstrated experience setting technical direction and driving alignment across senior stakeholders.
- •Deep expertise in designing and operating distributed systems (microservices, event-driven architectures, high-throughput APIs).
- •Strong proficiency in backend languages like Python, Go, Java, or C#.
- •Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
