TL;DR
Execute purchasing, manage the order book, and resolve vendor issues for timely deliveries.
- •The Supply Chain Buyer will execute purchasing, own the order book, and work on vendor issues to ensure timely deliveries.
- •Key Responsibilities Execute purchasing across assigned categories.
- •Own the order book and ensure statuses are current.
- •Work on vendor issues to ground shortages, substitutions, and expedites.
- •Maintain clean data in the ERP.
- •Requirements Experience as a buyer in a fast-moving supply chain.
- •Ability to chase confirmations and escalate issues with facts and recommendations.
- •ERP hygiene and fluency in Excel and SQL are a plus.
