About the role
TL;DR
Lead store operations, drive sales, and inspire customers in a retail environment.
- •The Floor Lead supports a General Manager or Store Manager in achieving sales goals and directs daily store operations as a Manager on Duty.
- •This role inspires customers on their culinary journey.
- •Key Responsibilities Support training for all employees and model customer service standards.
- •Communicate and ensure adherence to Sur La Table policies and SOPs.
- •Provide coaching and performance feedback to employees.
- •Support sales driving initiatives and create daily agendas.
- •Ensure adequate merchandise stock levels and presentation according to visual standards.
- •Requirements 1 year of retail sales and customer service experience. 1 year of retail supervisory experience, preferred.
- •Proficient in POS Systems.
- •Experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- •Ability to communicate verbally and work cooperatively with employees and customers.
