About the role
TL;DR
Implement and advise enterprise customers on Cloudflare's application security and performance solutions.
- •Cloudflare provides advisory and hands-on-keyboard implementation and migration services for enterprise customers.
- •As a Professional Services Consultant for Application Security and Performance, you are responsible for the technical execution of solutions and guidance to customers to maximize their Cloudflare investment.
- •Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver timely services for customers, ensuring they see the full value of Cloudflare's products and advising on best practices.
- •Gather business and technical requirements to build, migrate, and deliver solutions, producing necessary documentation and artifacts.
- •Implement changes in the Cloudflare environment on behalf of the customer and provide configuration guidance.
- •Troubleshoot implementation issues and collaborate with internal teams to assist technical escalations.
- •Contribute to knowledge sharing through documentation, Q&A, and iterating on best practices.
- •Requirements 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as Customer Engineer, Security Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
- •Deep understanding of Internet and Security technologies like DDoS, WAF, Certificates, DNS, CDN, and Analytics.
- •Demonstrated experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash).
- •Working experience with security aspects of internet properties (Firewalls, WAFs, Bot Management, Rate Limiting, (M)TLS).
- •Ability to manage projects, work to deadlines, and prioritize competing demands.
