About the role
TL;DR
Act as the primary procurement and supply chain point of contact in Iceland.
- •Act as the primary procurement and supply chain point of contact in Iceland, supporting both Mammoth and Orca projects on-site.
- •Key Responsibilities Support project procurement activities, category management, MRO purchasing, and coordinate ad hoc logistics.
- •Run RFQs and RFPs, conduct supplier evaluations, lead negotiations, and prepare pre-award recommendations.
- •Oversee post-award contract administration, including expediting and supplier performance follow-up.
- •Build, develop, and manage a robust local supplier network for industrial services, MRO, site support, and logistics.
- •Ensure uninterrupted supply by proactively managing risks, resolving supplier issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
- •Continuously improve local procurement ways of working, enhancing efficiency, compliance, and collaboration across teams.
- •Requirements Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- •Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- •Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- •Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
