- •Tenstorrent is seeking a Staff Reliability Engineer to define and drive the reliability strategy for next-generation AI computing systems.
- •This role involves partnering across hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure high-performance AI platforms meet stringent uptime, durability, and quality standards.
- •Key Responsibilities Set the reliability strategy for next-generation AI computing systems (data center and workstation).
- •Lead root-cause investigations on failures and implement fixes across engineering and the supply chain.
- •Validate advanced cooling systems, including vapor chambers, heat pipes, and direct-to-chip liquid cooling.
- •Serve as a point of contact for manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure reliability standards during the NPI process.
- •Mentor other engineers and lead design reviews to elevate team standards.
- •Requirements 8+ years in reliability engineering, preferably in high-performance computing, AI hardware, or data center systems.
- •Proficiency in statistical reliability methods (HALT, HASS, ALT, MTBF, Weibull analysis, FMEA).
- •Ability to troubleshoot technical problems in a thermal lab and communicate risks/trade-offs to leadership.
- •Strong collaboration skills to bring together mechanical, electrical, thermal, and software teams, especially under tight timelines.
