TL;DR
Lead a team in talent analytics, driving data-driven hiring decisions and strategic objectives.
- •Canonical's Talent Science team uses a data-centric approach to select the best new colleagues, leveraging data analytics and business intelligence to inform hiring decisions and integrate behavioral science into the selection process.
- •This role supports team growth and drives strategic objectives.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead a team to deliver strategic objectives, focusing on product design and roadmap implementation.
- •Analyze hiring data to connect performance outcomes with selection methods.
- •Design professional processes and frameworks for efficient agenda delivery.
- •Coach and mentor team members on analytical capabilities and thought leadership.
- •Represent the team and act as a trusted advisor in the absence of the Head of Talent Science.
- •Requirements 7+ years of experience in a Talent function with deep appreciation for recruitment, selection, and data-driven decision-making.
- •Proven analytical ability using SQL, Python, R, or SPSS, with an appetite to learn SQL.
- •Exposure to BI tools (Superset is their platform).
- •Exceptional ability to lead and drive others, including project management and coaching.
- •Exceptional written and spoken English with strong presentation skills for a senior audience.
