- •The Lead Capital Equipment Technician is the senior technical resource for the RPS technician team, ensuring the reliability and performance of Velo3D's metal additive manufacturing equipment.
- •This role provides day-to-day technical leadership, mentoring, and training to maximize printer uptime.
- •Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical leadership for the RPS technician team.
- •Mentor and train new and junior technicians on equipment operation and maintenance.
- •Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of Velo3D additive manufacturing systems.
- •Ensure maintenance activities are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
- •Create, update, and maintain work orders and maintenance records.
- •Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or vocational training preferred. 5+ years of experience maintaining complex manufacturing or capital equipment.
- •Demonstrated experience troubleshooting industrial equipment with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and motion control systems.
- •Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- •Proven ability to mentor and train technicians.
