About the role
TL;DR
Advise Tensec on legal matters and build the legal infrastructure for expansion.
- •Tensec is expanding rapidly and needs a Senior Legal Counsel to manage legal affairs across the US.
- •Key Responsibilities Legal Affairs Leadership: Serve as Tensec's primary internal legal voice across all US matters.
- •Manage MTL obligations across all US jurisdictions and monitor the regulatory landscape.
- •Direct and coordinate Tensec's existing external legal network; manage outside counsel relationships.
- •Lead legal review on all client agreements, vendor contracts, and external partnerships.
- •Build the legal infrastructure including templates, playbooks, and review processes.
- •Requirements Strong understanding of financial services regulation, commercial contracting, and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
- •Experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, vendor and partner contracting.
- •Ability to advise the CCO and COO directly on legal matters.
- •Experience in managing legal agreements and building legal frameworks for expanding operations.
- •Excellent communication and strategic advisory skills.
