About the role
TL;DR
Finance Operations Analyst to manage accounts payable and receivable, support financial close, and reconcile financial records.
- •Astra is a payments infrastructure and money movement API platform powering fintech clients across the country.
- •We're looking for a Finance Operations Analyst to help keep our internal financial engine running cleanly as we scale.
- •Key Responsibilities Own day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and client billing Support month-end and quarter-end close, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis Reconcile internal financial records against bank statements, payment processor reports, and other third-party data sources Track and manage vendor contracts, payment terms, and renewal timelines Prepare recurring financial reports and dashboards for leadership (cash position, burn, AP/AR aging, etc.) Requirements 2+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, or financial operations role (fintech or startup experience a plus) Solid understanding of core accounting concepts (accruals, reconciliations, close processes) Experience managing AP/AR or similar transactional finance workflows Strong attention to detail and comfort working with high volumes of financial data Ability to work independently, prioritize across multiple recurring deadlines, and flag issues proactively
