TL;DR
Senior Privacy Engineer to build privacy into products from the ground up.
- •As a founding member of the Privacy Engineering team, you will shape how Asana builds privacy into its products from the ground up, bridging legal, regulatory, and technical dimensions of privacy across the company.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead technical privacy-by-design reviews for new features and major architectural changes.
- •Help drive compliance with global privacy regulations (such as GDPR and CCPA).
- •Evaluate and mitigate privacy risks in AI/ML systems.
- •Build and operate systems that enable data rights for users and privacy-enhancing technologies.
- •Requirements 6+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years focused on privacy or data protection.
- •Passion for privacy and data protection with a deep understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and emerging global privacy frameworks.
- •Proven experience building technical controls for data governance.
- •Familiarity with privacy risks in ML systems.
