Supervise shipping, trade, and logistics operations, ensuring compliance and cost savings.
•The Supervisor of Shipping, Trade & Logistics is responsible for international trade compliance, hazmat, and logistics programs within the Stores Department, guiding analysts to manage expenditures and negotiate contracts for cost savings.
•Key Responsibilities Guide Shipping & Logistics Analysts in trend analysis and cost management.
•Engage service providers to re-negotiate contracts and maximize cost savings.
•Ensure timely processing of invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors and accounting.
•Develop and maintain import/export controls for regulatory compliance.
•Supervise and arrange transportation for material, parts & GSE Assets.
•Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
•Minimum five (5) years of experience in material or inventory management.
•Knowledge of Shipping, Logistics, import/export, hazmat, or stores operations preferred.
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.
•Ability to report monthly metrics and familiarity with Tableau interactive reports.
