- •Airwallex is seeking a Senior Manager, Regulatory Operations, APAC to build and manage the control engine for regulatory and partner obligations across its APAC licensed entities and products.
- •This role is hands-on and execution-focused, requiring the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of controls, documentation, and reporting.
- •Key Responsibilities Operationalize regulatory and partner obligations into clear governance and control requirements.
- •Design, implement, and embed key regulatory and partner controls into workflows and systems.
- •Build and maintain regulator-ready documentation for control scope.
- •Engage with regulators, auditors, and financial partners on control-related inquiries.
- •Support regulatory exams, audits, and supervisory engagements in APAC.
- •Requirements 10+ years of experience in regulatory operations, compliance, audit, or risk management in fintech or financial services.
- •Proven experience translating requirements into operational controls and procedures.
- •Direct involvement in supporting regulatory exams, audits, or partner due diligence.
- •Strong project management skills for cross-functional initiatives.
- •Excellent analytical and writing skills for complex regulatory concepts.
