About the role

- •Airwallex is seeking a Director, Credit Risk to lead global second-line oversight of credit, FX, and counterparty risk.

- •Key Responsibilities Define and enhance the global credit risk framework, policies, and risk appetite.
- •Oversee credit exposures across merchant acquiring, charge cards, FX, treasury, and settlement.
- •Review and challenge first-line underwriting strategies and credit assessments.
- •Establish and monitor guardrails for FX and counterparty risk exposures.
- •Lead portfolio monitoring and identify emerging risk trends.
- •Requirements 10-15 years of experience in credit risk, counterparty risk, FX risk, or related financial risk disciplines.
- •Deep experience in designing and governing second-line credit risk frameworks.
