About the role
TL;DR
Owns platform security architecture end-to-end, hands-on fixing issues and setting standards.
- •We are looking for a Security Architect to own the security architecture of our platform end to end, across infrastructure, applications, and APIs, and to be hands-on in making it better.
- •This is a builder’s role, not a paper one.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the security architecture across cloud infrastructure, applications, and APIs.
- •Work directly with engineers to identify, prioritize, and remediate security issues.
- •Perform threat modeling and security design reviews for new services.
- •Define and maintain security standards, reference architectures, and hardening baselines.
- •Lead and coordinate security testing, including penetration tests and vulnerability management.
- •Requirements 7 to 9 years of experience in security engineering, security architecture, or a closely related field.
- •Genuine hands-on technical depth in application code, cloud infrastructure, and API design.
- •Strong command of cloud security, including network segmentation, IAM, secrets and key management, and workload and container security.
- •Deep application and API security knowledge, including common vulnerability classes and secure SDLC practices.
- •Solid, current understanding of industry and regulatory security and privacy requirements (e.g., SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR).
