About the role
TL;DR
Estimates commercial construction projects, focusing on framing, and prepares bids.
- •Nexus is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator with experience in framing to support a US-based commercial framing specialist.
- •This role will manage estimating, bidding, and pre-construction activities for a growing project volume.
- •Key Responsibilities Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for commercial framing projects.
- •Prepare accurate bids and estimates, manage RFIs, submittals, and revisions.
- •Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and project information.
- •Provide pre-construction support and communicate with clients as needed.
- •Manage multiple estimating assignments and support high-volume bidding.
- •Requirements 3+ years of commercial or industrial construction estimating experience.
- •Experience with commercial construction projects, preferably framing or structural scopes.
- •Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- •Fluent English and Spanish, with native Spanish preferred.
- •Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
