About the role
TL;DR
Manage Aescape's accounting function, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- •Aescape is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its day-to-day accounting function.
- •This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, leading the monthly close and financial reporting processes, and strengthening internal controls to support company growth.
- •Key Responsibilities Own and maintain the end-to-end accounting function, including GL, month-end close, financial reporting, AP, AR, payroll, inventory, and fixed assets.
- •Partner closely with Operations/Supply Chain on inventory accounting, COGS, and manufacturing variances for hardware products.
- •Partner closely with Revenue Operations on AR, customer billing, collections, and revenue recognition.
- •Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures in accordance with GAAP.
- •Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and automation to streamline accounting processes.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a hardware, manufacturing, or consumer electronics environment.
- •Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel skills.
- •Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- •Experience with inventory accounting, standard costing, and COGS in a physical-product business.
