- •Substack is seeking a high-leverage Business Operations leader to serve as a strategic co-pilot to the CEO and CFO.
- •This role requires elite analytical rigor, a first-principles mindset, and hands-on drive to build data pipelines, run complex analyses, and execute high-stakes initiatives.
- •Key Responsibilities Uncover, prioritize, and drive the business's highest-impact initiatives across product, growth, pricing, and creator economics.
- •Perform deep-dive analyses on core metrics to guide product and monetization decisions.
- •Conduct rigorous competitive analysis and market mapping to evaluate new opportunities.
- •Partner directly with the CEO and CFO to translate complex operational data into actionable executive decisions.
- •Design and run the business cadence, including KPI tracking and operational reviews.
- •Requirements 5-10 years of total work experience, including foundational years at a top-tier management consulting firm or investment bank, followed by high-impact BizOps/Strategy experience at a fast-growing tech company.
- •Highly comfortable with quantitative modeling and data manipulation (advanced SQL, Excel, Python/R a plus).
- •First-principles problem solver with a bias for action and execution.
- •Low ego, high ownership mentality with executive-level communication skills.
