TL;DR
Lead Data Scientist to build growth data infrastructure, analyze experiments, and build predictive models.
- •Jane is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join their Product Growth team.
- •This role reports directly to the VP of Product Growth and will be the first dedicated data hire, embedded within the growth team from day one.
- •You will be instrumental in building out Jane's first-ever Growth team and will have a seat at the table in strategic conversations.
- •Key Responsibilities Build data infrastructure connecting usage events, product analytics, GTM data, and financial data.
- •Design and analyze experiments across the funnel, including power analysis and hypothesis building.
- •Build predictive models iteratively and bring AI to push limits.
- •Own insights and share them widely, proactively surfacing what's working and what isn't.
- •Create the reporting layer, automating wherever possible.
- •Requirements Minimum 5 years in a growth analytics role at a high growth tech company.
- •Experience with event-level data pipelines and good instrumentation.
- •Ability to design and analyze experiments, including assessing sample size limitations.
- •Proficiency in running deep analysis to derive actionable insights.
- •Experience building predictive models independently.
- •Comfort working before infrastructure is fully ready.
