Senior Data Scientist to lead credit decisioning strategy and model development.
- •LemFi is building the go-to financial app for the Global South, aiming to create a financial ecosystem for immigrants.
- •This role is central to the Credit function, influencing lending decisions and portfolio performance.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end data science strategy for Credit, focusing on underwriting, pricing, and lifecycle decisioning.
- •Design, train, and validate predictive models to improve credit outcomes.
- •Partner with engineering teams to productionize models and build robust monitoring frameworks.
- •Lead deep-dive analyses into portfolio behavior and customer segments.
- •Requirements Significant experience in data science, machine learning, or quantitative decisioning, preferably in consumer credit or fintech.
- •Hands-on fluency in Python and SQL for model development and analysis.
- •Deep experience building and evaluating predictive models in production.
- •Strong grounding in credit risk concepts and portfolio metrics.
- •Experience partnering with engineering teams to deploy ML systems into live products.
