•Coupa is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive technical vision and architectural excellence for its Coupa Sourcing Optimization (CSO) platform.
•This role involves leading Proof of Concept initiatives, designing high-availability systems, and mentoring engineers.
•Key Responsibilities Lead Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives for new product capabilities and evaluate emerging technologies.
•Own the end-to-end design of features within the CSO ecosystem, balancing Java-based optimization engines with a React/Vite frontend.
•Champion clean architecture and design patterns for extensibility, platform-agnosticism, and high availability.
•Drive the technical roadmap for Coupa Sourcing Optimization (CSO), focusing on high-concurrency data processing and complex bid analysis.
•Systematically mentor mid-level and senior engineers, setting standards for code quality and architectural integrity.
•Requirements 8+ years of expert Java development experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
•Mastery of OpenAPI, RESTful service development, and sophisticated service consumption strategies.
•Expert-level MSSQL/relevant database knowledge, including advanced performance tuning.
•Deep experience with JUnit, Mockito, or AssertJ for backend unit testing.
•Expert proficiency in React.js using Vite, and advanced usage of MUI (Material UI).
•Mastery of Jest and React Testing Library for frontend unit testing, and Cypress or Playwright for end-to-end flows.
