TL;DR
Senior Cloud Engineer to help customers optimize product delivery and user experience using Fastly's edge cloud platform.
- •Fastly helps people stay better connected with the things they love.
- •Fastly's edge cloud platform enables customers to create great digital experiences quickly, securely, and reliably by processing, serving, and securing their applications as close to their end-users as possible.
- •This role will be on the front lines of customer adoption, helping organizations understand technologies like Edge Computing and CDN architectures.
- •Key Responsibilities Act as the resident Fastly architect for customers, representing their needs internally.
- •Develop technical relationships and understand customer infrastructure, plans, and challenges.
- •Perform post-sales implementation of Fastly products, including VCL coding and logging endpoint configuration.
- •Investigate and recommend improvements to customer implementations and utilization of Fastly's technology stack.
- •Partner internally to create customer strategies and assist with support requests.
- •Requirements 5+ years of Pre-Sales or Post-Sales experience in Sales Engineering, Web Development, DevOps, Technical Account Management, or Solutions Architect.
- •Hands-on experience with Linux and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
- •Understanding of networking (BGP, internet routing) and protocols (HTTP/s, TCP, TLS, DNS).
- •Experience with internet and cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- •Comfortable presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences and leading customer presentations.
