TL;DR
Own and mature the AS9100 Quality Management System for an aerospace and defense company.
- •Salient Motion is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to own and mature their AS9100 Quality Management System.
- •This is a working role focused on day-to-day QMS operations, corrective actions, and supplier/customer quality.
- •Key Responsibilities Own, maintain, and improve the AS9100 Quality Management System.
- •Plan and conduct internal audits; manage external audits and customer surveillance.
- •Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- •Manage supplier quality and oversee inspection processes.
- •Lead quality readiness for FAA Production Approval Holder status.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience. 5+ years of quality experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing.
- •Working knowledge of AS9100 and hands-on QMS experience.
- •Experience with audits, CAPA, nonconformance, and MRB processes.
- •Hands-on experience with first article inspection (AS9102).
