- •Axle is seeking a Facilities Planning Manager to support space planning, architectural interior design, and design review for new and existing space renovations within NCI office buildings and biomedical research facilities.
- •This role involves conducting space surveys, planning interior spaces, and advising staff on design factors.
- •Key Responsibilities Conduct space surveys and plan interior spaces considering function, user needs, building codes, and budget.
- •Advise staff on interior design factors including space planning, layout, furnishings, materials, and color selection.
- •Review schematic design, design development, and construction drawings for compliance with specifications.
- •Coordinate relocation projects with on-site move management staff.
- •Develop working knowledge of NCI OSFM's Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system, VisionFM.
- •Requirements A minimum of an Associate's degree in Interior Design or a related discipline.
- •At least six years of related experience.
- •Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- •Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- •Proficiency in AutoCAD 2010 or later, Autodesk Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
