About the role
TL;DR
Analyze people data to inform business decisions and shape analytics solutions.
- •As a Senior People Analytics Analyst, you'll help GitLab use people data to make clear, informed decisions.
- •You'll shape and deliver analytics solutions with a data-first mindset, from scalable reporting and advanced statistical analysis to survey strategy and workflow automation.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and continuously improve reporting and dashboard solutions.
- •Translate technical outputs into clear visualizations and actionable insights.
- •Write advanced SQL to build, validate, and maintain scalable data models.
- •Apply statistical methods to identify meaningful trends in people data.
- •Serve as a subject matter expert for surveys at GitLab.
- •Requirements Experience in analytics, preferably within People Analytics or Recruiting Analytics.
- •Experience developing reports and dashboards with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
- •Advanced SQL skills.
- •Proficiency in R or Python for statistical analysis.
- •Experience designing, implementing, and analyzing team member surveys.
