About the role
TL;DR
Legal Counsel to build and scale legal infrastructure for a European insurtech scale-up.
- •Insify is seeking a Legal Counsel to be a builder, not a gatekeeper.
- •You will be embedded in the business, working alongside Product, Growth, and Commercial teams to shape how Insify launches new products, enters new markets, and scales its legal and compliance infrastructure across Europe.
- •Key Responsibilities Advise on Dutch and EU commercial and regulatory law, building legal posture from the ground up.
- •Stay ahead of legal and regulatory developments across Europe and provide strategic guidance.
- •Own international expansion from a legal perspective, facilitating faster market entry.
- •Partner with business teams to launch new offerings and campaigns, integrating legal thinking early.
- •Build and scale compliance infrastructure for a fast-moving, multi-jurisdictional company.
- •Requirements Strong legal background in Dutch law, with EU law being a significant advantage. 3+ years of market experience working in the Netherlands.
- •Relevant industry exposure in financial services, insurance, or tech.
- •Fluency in Dutch and English.
- •Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders.
