TL;DR
Technical owner of strategic partnerships, enabling Fireworks as the default AI inference and fine-tuning layer.
- •As an AI Field Engineer for Strategic Partnerships, you will be a technical owner of Fireworks' most strategic partnerships.
- •You'll work closely with partner field teams, ISVs, and SIs to make Fireworks the default inference and fine-tuning layer in every Partner AI architecture.
- •Key Responsibilities Be the technical lead on co-sell motions with Strategic Partners, building reference architectures and joint POCs.
- •Build end-to-end POCs and MVPs alongside partner engineering teams.
- •Run load tests and tune deployments to hit latency, throughput, and cost targets.
- •Guide customers on model selection, fine-tuning strategy, and evaluation methodology.
- •Own the feedback loop, surfacing partner-driven product gaps to Fireworks engineering.
- •Requirements 3+ years in a pre-sales, partner engineering, forward-deployed, or technical consulting role.
- •Demonstrated ability to build production software with customers.
- •Strong Python skills, familiarity with Kubernetes and infrastructure engineering.
- •Hands-on fluency with LLM inference and fine-tuning (LoRA minimum, RFT a plus).
- •Deep familiarity with the Azure AI stack.
- •Exceptional communication skills.
