- •Kavak is seeking a senior, hands-on Tech Lead with business acumen to take technical ownership of key initiatives for their fintech vertical, Kuna, in Argentina and Chile.
- •This role focuses on technical leadership rather than traditional people management.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead technical initiatives end-to-end, from problem understanding to solution definition, development, and operation.
- •Design and develop backend and frontend solutions, integrating internal systems, vendors, and financial platforms.
- •Utilize AI to enhance productivity in development, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- •Prioritize based on business impact, risk, complexity, and scalability, evaluating trade-offs between speed, quality, and technical debt.
- •Ensure best practices in architecture, security, testing, observability, and operations.
- •Requirements 7+ years of software development experience.
- •Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Team Leader Tech, Staff Engineer, or Senior Engineer with strong ownership.
- •Hands-on profile with solid experience in GenAI.
- •Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with React and/or Angular.
- •Experience with microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
