- •The Supervisor of the clinical laboratory oversees employees' performance and serves as a liaison between employees and senior management to meet company goals and quality objectives.
- •This role is responsible for daily supervision of lab staff performing duties such as laboratory testing and data review.
- •Key Responsibilities Provides direct supervision to professional and skilled support staff.
- •Ensures production work is consistently completed according to department goals and adheres to SOPs and safety procedures.
- •Oversees training and development of staff, documents nonconformances, and handles employee issues in collaboration with management.
- •Plans and leads shift meetings, discusses goals and progress with team members, and acts as the go-to person when the manager is absent.
- •Interacts with interdepartmental teams and identifies trends and issues to execute solutions.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in medical technology, laboratory science, chemical, physical, or biological sciences with 4.5+ years of industry-related experience, including at least two years in a clinical laboratory.
- •Current CA State CGMBS or CLS license is required.
- •Proven leadership experience, ability to take on projects with little supervision, and excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
