TL;DR
Lead strategic sourcing and commercial management for hardware commodities supporting LiDAR platforms.
- •Aeva is seeking an experienced supply chain leader to build resilient supplier ecosystems, drive commercial excellence, and help bring Aeva's next-generation products to market.
- •This role is instrumental in building Aeva's global supply chain foundation as the company scales into automotive, industrial, and high-volume production environments.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sourcing strategies, lead supplier selection, and conduct commercial negotiations.
- •Lead supply chain contract negotiations for various agreements including MSAs, LTSAs, and SOWs.
- •Manage product costs from development through production and develop multi-generation cost roadmaps.
- •Implement supply chain resilience and risk management strategies, including dual sourcing and geographic diversification.
- •Manage supplier relationships through periodic business reviews and performance management.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. 10+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or global supply management experience in high-technology manufacturing.
- •Experience sourcing complex hardware in areas like Silicon Photonics, Optics, Lasers, Semiconductors, or Electronics.
- •Proven experience leading complex global sourcing initiatives from concept through production.
- •Strong commercial negotiation skills with experience negotiating multi-million-dollar global supply agreements.
