TL;DR
Design and manage metagame, live, and progression features for a mobile FPS.
- •NaturalMotion is seeking a talented Senior Meta Designer to join their London studio, focusing on shaping the combat experience for a first-person shooter mobile title.
- •This role involves designing and managing metagame, live, and progression features to ensure a satisfying and sustainable mobile experience.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the design, prototyping, and implementation of progression, economy, and engagement features.
- •Analyze analytics, feature data, and KPIs to inform design decisions and drive engagement.
- •Collaborate with art, animation, audio, design, and engineering teams to build content and solve problems.
- •Analyze player data, feedback, and behaviors to identify and fix metagame issues and retention barriers.
- •Requirements Previous experience in Metagame / Progression / Engagement Design or equivalent.
- •At least one shipped title in a design role for a live service title.
- •Experience designing and implementing progression, economy, or engagement features for live games.
- •Familiarity with the Unreal game engine.
- •Ability to analyze gameplay data and player feedback to inform and balance design decisions.
